What We Say: As the online extension of the most well read yoga magazine in the U.S. and abroad, YogaJournal.com is an interactive, in-depth yoga community website. The site design is as peaceful and calming as the practice of yoga itself, as is navigating through pose selectors and advice and tips from the professionals. The online store is a refreshingly simple experience.

Though a bit overwhelming, this site has everything from great articles to a fantastic guide to poses, complete with a "build a sequence" utility. My only complaint is the continual bombardment of popups to subscribe to the magazine.

Just for Fun Check out the Yoga Journal Blog.
Pros This site is beautifully designed and super easy to use. Easy to find poses, a beginner to expert Q&A section, and a site dedicated not only to the practice of yoga as a form of exercise and relaxation, but also as a way of life. From dealing with stress, to planning meals, to transitioning from season to season, YogaJournal promotes a yoga lifestyle.
Cons The Yoga Directory (where you can search for studios, teachers, vacations and retreats, training sessions etc.) is not as comprehensive as some of the other search engines out there. The listings are limited geographically to major metropolitan areas.
