I am Victoria Gonzalez, I was refered to OurStroy.com by a friend last summer and I've been a member of OurStory.com ever since. ' OS ' as we like to refer to it. Andy 'the owner' is fantastic. I've met people from all over the world and enjoy reading their life stories. I've even been contacted by a long lost family member, who googled me, and found me here on OurStory.com. She too is now a member. I'm using my main profile to capture my family history, mostly by means of old pictures, and the dates written on the back. My secondary profile is to share with my new friends on ourstory. To share in their joys and sorrows and to even share a joke or a virtual cup of coffee during the busy work day. One of the best features about OS is that it's nothing like myspace or other similar sites. Eventually I'll have the stories transfered to paper to pass on to my children. I have been on OurStory for almost 2 years. I have written about 600 short stories and anecdotes about my life to hand down to my children and grandchildren. I had a book made complete with pictures! I love the OurStory community and have made lots of friends there! I highly recommend it!

im a self-admitted BLOG-HOPPER, and i did a google search one day and OURSTROY.com was the 1st in the list. i hadnt been to it yet, thought id give it a try, i found my blog home!! i write almost daily, add pictures, video, music, and keep up with about 10 blogs on the OURSTORY.com site, that are all connected to my own blog. i keep one for my son, and one for my weightloss goals, and some for other ppl, and one for low-carb recipes, and it goes on. i enjoy the fact i can upload images directly from my hard drive to any post i write. i like that if i have something extreemy personal i dont want the world reading, i can, PRIVATE any blog post. i like that the site hosts its own video uploading. as well as allowes for the addition of YOUTUBE.com HTML IN the blog itself. i like the fact that i can backup my blog at anytime by purchasing a DVD/CD of my blog thru another site this ones connected too (for a fee) i like i can when im ready make my blog into a book for my family and freinds when im gone. i like the ease of the site itself. and the community of ppl, are the best on the planet! you can actually speak (thru comments and OURSTORY emails) to the woner himself! now THATS what i call..GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! its , by far, the BEST blogging site EVER! and i am a memmber of about 50+ b;og communities, id rather blog at OURSTORY.com than anywhere else ! please feel free to join OURSTORY.com..its FREE. if you do...make sure you connect to me at: www.ourstory.com/nativity4me my son at: www.ourstory.com/danielalancarmichael my weightloss blog can be found at: www.ourstory.com/michellesweightlossjourney have a GREAT ONE! I have been a member for over a year now. I have done genealogy and met family members that I did not know. This site has brought so many wonderful people into my life, they are my family and have changed me life. I am sort of house bound and would have went crazy if it had not been for my ourstory family. Hello, my name is Sharon. I started creating my time-line May 2007 at the age of 36. Life is full of incredible moments, memories, lessons, and connections, but as time goes by, these essential passages in our life’s story tend to fade, slip away, or simply get lost in the shuffle of our busy lives. I want to document my life so I never forget. I entered this website so cautiously, I'm not big with blog sites, myspace, or anything like that (you hear so many stories about bad things on-line). I started reading story after story, I'm talking good stories. Each day I read more and felt so inspired and uplifted. My goodness people on this site is like one big family who loves LIFE. I am blessed everyday to read and share in their life stories and experiences. I truly love this site and all the wonderful people on here. I love sharing our life stories and making friends. I love the inspiration from others. I love the stories that we have in common. I love knowing there is someone close that has either experienced what I'm going through or going through what I've already experienced. I love the shared laughs and tears. I truly love OurStory!!! I was looking for a way to document my personal history. As a long time computer user and a relatively new member of Our Story I have found that way. Out of all the systems that I've tried Our Story has the best features that are the easiest to use. You don't get caught up in the technology - rather, you get caught up in the community. I have been a member for 2 years. I like to record stories my parents have been telling over the years. Before long they won't be around to tell them to the next generation. I find the ability to add a picture to the story and view them along a timeline to be the best features.
